Better Schools, Better Oregon

We all want Oregon to be the best it can be. Providing a quality education for all of Oregon's children is a step in the right direction. There are  lots of opportunities to get involved in school reform from joining Chalkboard's statewide citizens' corps to volunteering in a classroom or finding out how your school district spends its money.

Regardless of your time or interests, there is a volunteer opportunity out there for you! Let's all join together for better schools and a better Oregon.

Teachers, Join our Newly formed teachers' corps!

Like our Citizens’ Corps, Teachers’ Corps members share Chalkboard’s goal of improving Oregon’s K-12 education system to make it among the nation’s best in student achievement.

Learn more about our goal to support the professional practice of teaching with the help and guidance of all Oregon teachers by visiting our Teachers' Corps Web page.
