Citizen input

Chalkboard was founded with a goal of not just improving K-12 education in Oregon, but making our public schools among the nation’s top 10 in student achievement.  We conducted the largest statewide poll ever done on K-12 education issues.

We know from our frequent polling and civic engagement that the issues most important to Oregonians are:  quality teachers, good readers, parent involvement, funding stability and budget accountability.

Chalkboard will continue to engage the public both through surveys and events.  Interested in hearing the latest about Chalkboard?  Sign up for our e-newsletter, Chalk Talk.
